All voting members receive one vote regardless of membership tier or seniority.

Members are entitled to vote in HIA elections and at business meetings. Three months of membership directly preceding an election is required to be a candidate for HIA's Board of Directors.

Up to five individuals can be added to the membership and will each receive these benefits:

• This Week in Hemp: a customized, AI-generated weekly hemp news digest.
• Stay current on federal legislation and key national issues with HIA's hemp policy brief Hemp on the Hill.
• Joining our community referral and resource network lets individuals serve on committees, act as subject matter experts for media inquiries, and field business referrals.
• State-based advocacy action alerts, regulatory updates, event invites, and other relevant local content.
